(12sc) Rnd3: 1sc in next 2 sc, 2sc in next sc, repeat around (18sc) Rnd 4:   1sc in next 2 sc, 2sc in next sc, repeat around (24 sc) Rnd 5:   1sc in next 3 sc, 2sc in next sc, repeat around (30 sc) Rnd 6: 1sc in next 4 sc, 2sc in next sc, repeat around (36 sc) Rnd 7: 1sc in next 5 sc, 2sc in next sc, repeat around (42s sc) Rnd 8:   1sc in next 6 sc, 2sc in next sc, repeat around (48 sc) Rnds 9 through 20: Sc in each sc around Rnd 21:  Dec 6 sc evenly spaced around (42 sc) Rnd 22: Sc in each sc around Rnd 23: Dec 6 sc evenly spaced around (36 sc) Rnds 24 through 29: Sc in each sc around Rnd 30: Dec 6 sc evenly spaced around  (30 sc) Rnds 31through 33: Sc in each sc around. Fasten off and stuff HEAD: with brown yarn, work same as for body through Rnd5. Rnds 6 through 12 : Sc in each around Rnd13: Dec 6 sc evenly spaced around Rnd13: Dec 6 sc evenly spaced around (24 sc) Rnd14: Dec 6 sc evenly spaced around (18 sc) Rnd15 through 19: Sc in each sc around. Fasten off, stuff and sew to top of body. NOSE: with black knitting worsted yarn, ch 2. Work 6 sc in 2nd  ch from hook. Sc. 1 rnd even Fasten off. Attach brown, work 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sc) Work 2 more rnds even Inc to 18 sc, Fasten off, stuff and sew to head as shown in picture MOUTH: With brown yarn, work as for body through Rnd 3. Rnd4: Sc in each sc around. Fold piece in half and Sc together. Sew to face under nose. FRONT BODY PIECE: With ecru yarn, ch  15 sc in 2nd ch from Hook. Sc even for 15 rows. ( Ch 1 to turn each row) Row 16: Dec 1 sc end of row. Row 17: Sc in each sc Row 18: Dec 1sc each end of row Row 19: Sc  in each sc Row 20: Dec 1 sc in each end of row. Row 21: Sc in each sc Row 22: Dec 1 sc each end of row. Row 23: sc in each sc. Row 24:  Dec 1 sc each end of row Rows 25 through 30: sc in each row Fasten off and sew to front of body piece. POCKET: With brown yarn, work same as front body piece through 15 rows. Fasten off and sew to bottom front of body. ARMS & LEGS: with brown yarn, work as for body through Rnd3. (18 sc) Rnds 4&5: Sc in each sc Rnd6: Dec in first 3 sc’s, sc in next 12 sc. (15 sc) Rnds 7 through 28: sc in each sc Fasten off, stuff and sew to body EARS: Make 2 brown and 2 ecru. Ch5 , sc in 2nd ch from hook to last ch, put 3 sc in last ch , sc in each ch on opposite side of ch, put 3 sc in each ch. Repeat twice. Sc 1 of each color together ,sew to head TAIL: with brown yarn, work as for body through Rnd 2 Sc even for 35 rnds, fasten off, stuff and sew to body BABY KANGAROO: Using E hook and dark gold sport yarn , ch 2 work as for body through rnd5. Rnds 6 through 11: Sc in each sc around. Rnd12: Dec 6 sc evenly spaced (24 sc) Rnd13: Dec 6 sc evenly spaced ( 18 sc) Rnds14 &15:sc in each sc around. Rnd16: Attach blue sport yarn, put 2sc in each sc around (36 sc) Rnd 17 & 18: Sc in each sc around. Rnd 19: Dec in every other sc around. Rnds 20 through 29: Sc in each sc Fasten off, stuff and sew bottom together. NOSE: With black sport yarn, ch 2 , work 6 sc in 2nd ch from Hook. Sc in each  sc around . Fasten off and attach dark gold yarn, put 2 sc in each sc around. Sc rnd even. Next rnd inc in every other sc. (18 sc) Sc 1 rnd even Fasten off and stuff. Sew to head EARS: Ch 5 with dark gold yarn sc in 2nd ch from hook and across, put 3 sc in last ch, sc in each ch on opposite side of ch put 3 sc in end ch, continue around for 1 more rnd. Fasten off and sew to head. Cut even brows desired size from black felt, cut tongue from red  Felt glue in place. Paint eyes with black liquid embroidery or plastic eyes. Glue eyelashes on under eyes. Put your baby in mother’s pocket.
