Size: 10-1/2w x 7-1/2;h x 4d
(Note: Fits an 8w x 3-5/8h x 2-1/8d brick.)
Supplies: Worsted weight yarn (refer to color key), two 10-5/8 x 13-5/8 sheets of 7 mesh plastic canvas, #16 tapestry needle, plastic wrap, and brick
Stitches Used: Backstitch, Gobelin Stitch, Overcast Stitch, and Tent Stitch
Instructions: Follow charts and use required stitches to work Handle, Pink Flower, Yellow Flower, and Front, leaving shaded areas unworked. For Long Sides, cut two pieces of plastic canvas 56 x 17 threads each. For Short Sides, cut two pieces of plastic canvas 27 x 17 threads each. For Back, cut a piece of plastic canvas 56 x 27 threads. Work Long Sides, Short Sides, and Back with same pattern as basket on Front. With right sides out, match Long Sides to top and bottom shaded areas on wrong side of Front; work stitches in shaded areas to join Long Sides to Front. With right sides out, match Short Sides to left and right shaded areas on wrong side of Front; work stitches in shaded areas to join Short Sides to Front. Use tan to join Short Sides to Long Sides along short edges.
Match and uses pink to tack Pink Flower to Front.
Match and use green to tack Yellow Flower to Front.
Match and use dk tan to tack Handle to each side of Front. Wrap brick with plastic wrap. Insert brick and use tan to join Back to Sides along unworked edges.
