Slash Gathers in Front 

1. Using the dress front foundation to waistline only, draw slash line from armhole [slightly slanting]; then divide it into 3 parts and draw 2 lines down to bust line, as illustrated. Reduce 1/2" at the waistline, as shown by dotted lines. Mark sections A, B and C. Slash along dotted lines; then close up . . .
