Bouquet Frost

 9 (10:11) * 50g balls Main colour (MC) – Orchid 2679

2 (2:2) * 50g balls contrast Colour (CC) – Porcelain 2703

To substitute other suitable Bouquet yarns, see 19.

 Tension:

20 sts and 29 rows to 4 in., [10 cm], measured over stocking stitch using larger size needles.

TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK TENSION.

 BACK AND FRONT: (Alike)

With smaller size needles and MC, cast on 90 (106: 122) sts.

Work In K1, P1 rib for 3 in., [7.5 cm], inc 18 (20: 22) sts evenly spaced across last row.     108 (126: 144)sts.

 Change to larger size needles and patt as follows:

Note: Carry MC evenly up right-hand side of work. Join and break CC as indicated.

Row 1: (Right side) MC – knit

Row 2: Purl

Row3: [K2tog] 3 times, [yon, K1] 6 times [K2tog] 3 times, rep from to end row.

Row4: Knit

 Rep rows 1-4, 4 more times.

Join CC, knit 2 rows.

With MC, knit 2 rows.

With CC, knit 2 rows.

Rep from**to**5 more times. Cast offs

 SLEEVES:

With smaller size needles and MC, cast on 42 (44: 46) sts.

Work inK1, P1 rib for 3 in., [7.5cm], inc 30 928: 26 sts evenly spaced across last row.        72 sts.

Change to larger size needles and work in patt as given for back, rep from ** to * 4 times.

AND AT THE SAME TIME

Inc 1 stitch each end of needle on 9^th row, then foll 6^th row 14 times.

Note: when taking inc sts into patt, on Row 3 of patt, knit inc sts at beg and end row.

Cast off the 102 sts.

 TO FINISH:

Join shoulder seams leaving 8 – 11 in., [20.5 – 28 cm] open for neck as desired.

Match center of cast- off edges of sleeves to shoulder seams.

Pin cast-off edges of sleeves (to full width) in position to either side of shoulder seams.

Sew in position.

Join side and sleeve seams
